ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team is the No. 5 seeded team in the Atlantic East Conference postseason and will head to No. 4 seeded Gwynedd Mercy University on Monday evening for a first-round contest.
 
Neumann finished the regular season 9-16 overall and 4-8 in the conference. The Knights are led by Terea Hunt, who is averaging 9.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Madison Stewart is adding 9.0 points while Tierra Harris is adding 8.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
 
Chelsea Keebler leads the team with 38 three-pointers this season. Hunt has handed out a team-high 53 assists while Stewart has dished out 46. Harris leads the team with 17 blocks. Harris has added 15 blocks.
 
Gwynedd Mercy took the wins in both meetings with Neumann in the regular season. On the road for the Knights, the Griffins won the high scoring game, 95-80. Keebler led five Knights in double-digits with 15 points. Harris notched a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Hunt and Aubrie Bleisblatt each netted 12 points and Dymond Collins added 11.
 
Back home, the Griffins took the game by a 78-61 score.Lauren Klieber hit five three-pointers en route to 19 points in the game. Collins netted 12 points. Hunt grabbed 15 rebounds.
 
In other first round action, No. 2 Immaculata will host No. 7 Centenary and No. 3 Cabrini will host No. 6 Marywood. The winners will advance to the semifinals on Wednesday evenings.
