ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis picked up a 6-3 win over Immaculata University on Tuesday afternoon in an Atlantic East Conference matchup.
The Knights opened action by taking two of the three doubles matches.
Sean Flannery and
Vince Landis took second doubles 8-1 while the duo of
Anthony Carpinella and
Joe Troilo won third doubles 8-0.
In singles action, Neuman won flights three through six for the 6-3 single. Landis won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. Carpinella took fifth singles 6-0, 6-0 and Troilo won sixth singles 6-0, 6-2. Flannery battled in the fourth flight. After falling 7-5 in the first set, he won 6-1 and 10-8 for the match.
Neumann (4-2, 2-1 Atlantic East) will host Cabrini tomorrow afternoon for another conference match up beginning at 3:30 PM.
