ARLINGTON, Va. – The Neumann University Men's Soccer team came back from a two-goal deficit to tie Marymount University in the final game of the regular season on Wednesday evening.

Marymount got on the scoreboard first, scoring in the 20th minute. Marymount took a 2-0 lead with a goal at the 43rd minute mark as the Saints outshot the Knights 6-2 in the first half.

The Knights started their comeback in the 78th minute when Chimdi Ekwem had a high shot to the back of the net to cut the lead in half. As time was ticking down, Owen Bentley pulled Neumann even at two in the 87th minute. Juan Lemos drew the assist on the game-tying goal.

Seth Walker and Carson Metzger each made a save during the match. Neumann had three shots in the second half.

Neumann (7-4-3, 4-0-2) will be the top seed in the Atlantic East Conference tournament, earning a bye into the semi-finals. They will await the lowest seed remaining after the first round, hosting that match on Tuesday.
