ARLINGTON, Va. – The Neumann University Men's Soccer team came back from a two-goal deficit to tie Marymount University in the final game of the regular season on Wednesday evening.
 
Marymount got on the scoreboard first, scoring in the 20^th minute. Marymount took a 2-0 lead with a goal at the 43^rd minute mark as the Saints outshot the Knights 6-2 in the first half.
 
The Knights started their comeback in the 78^th minute when Chimdi Ekwem had a high shot to the back of the net to cut the lead in half. As time was ticking down, Owen Bentley pulled Neumann even at two in the 87^th minute. Juan Lemos drew the assist on the game-tying goal.
 
Seth Walker and Carson Metzger each made a save during the match. Neumann had three shots in the second half.
 
Neumann (7-4-3, 4-0-2) will be the top seed in the Atlantic East Conference tournament, earning a bye into the semi-finals. They will await the lowest seed remaining after the first round, hosting that match on Tuesday.
