ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team defeated Cairn University 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Knights opened the match by taking two of the three doubles matches. The duo of Joe Troilo and Anthony Carpinella took the first point of the match at second doubles, 8-2. Daniel Bonowski and Jason Petrin won first doubles 8-5 foe the early 2-1 lead.
 
Bonowski kept his winning ways at first singles, 6-3, 6-1. Troilo won third singles 6-1, 6-3. Carpinella battled in the first set at fourth singles, winning 7-5 before taking set two 6-0. James Leuzzi rounded out the wins at fifth singles, 6-2, 6-1.
 
Neumann (2-1) will host Rutgers-Camden with the women's team on Saturday beginning at 12:00 PM.
