ARLINGTON, Va. – The Neumann University Women's Soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision against Marymount University in the Atlantic East Conference semifinals on Wednesday afternoon.
It took until the late stages of the first half, but Marymount got on the board in the 42nd minute to take a one goal lead into halftime. Just over seven minutes into the second, Neumann was awarded a corner kick.

Anna Poehlmann who crossed the ball to the far side post.
Julianna Hatt bounced it home for her team-leading eighth goal of the season, tying the game. 38 seconds later, the Saints retook the lead for good.
Poehlmann lad the Knights' balanced attack with two shots, one on goal. Eight other player had shots as well
Jaclyn Burmood, Joniec, and Hatt reaching the goalkeeper.
Lex Navarro played the entire game in goal, making three saves.
Neumann (7-9-3) closes out their 2024 season while Marymount moves on to the Atlantic East championship game on Saturday against Marywood.
