LANCASTER, Pa. - The Neumann University Men's Golf team was selected to finish fourth in the upcoming Atlantic East Conference Men's Golf Championship, voted on by the conference head coaches.
The 2024 Atlantic East Conference Men's Golf Championship will start on Sunday April 21st and conclude on Monday April 22nd. The two-day tournament will be held at Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.
In the 2024 Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll, Marymount tallied 13 points and three first place votes. Last season the Saints finished fourth in the conference championship tournament and they hope to claim the title this season.
Cabrini and Marywood tied for second as they both received 12 points and one first place vote. The Cavaliers are looking to win their fifth straight Atlantic East Conference championship and Marywood finished as conference runner up.
Neumann finished fourth in the polls with eight points as the Knights finished third in the championship tournament last season.
Chris Prazych has been playing well over his last five round, averaging an 83, including a 78 at the Northeast Shootout on April 8
th.
Max Mila has also been strong as he's averaged an 84 over his last five rounds. His best over that stretch coming at the Northeast Shootout with is own 78.
William Paterson concluded the coaches' poll with five votes.
The teams will tee off at 11:20am on Sunday April 21st and at 11:00am the next day. At the conclusion of the tournament on Monday there will be an award ceremony where the following will be recognized: Team Champion, Team Runner-Up, First Team and Second Team All-Conference, Golfer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the Elite 20 recipient.
