LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Neumann University Cross Country team competed in the Lincoln University Invitational Tune Up on Thursday afternoon as the men's team finished in second, and the women's team earned a fourth place finish.
First, in the Men's 4k race, Neumann's
Bryan Castro picked up a second place finish with a time of 15:04.6.
Ethan John finished in the top ten as well with a time of 17:03.8, a personal best performance that gave him ninth place.
Luke Ehly,
Siede Washington, and
Jahmeen Ross all earned personal bests with times of 18:05.6, 20:16.4, and 21:38.2, respectively.
Jamar Davis rounded out the Knights day with a time of 22:44.6.
On the women's side,
Ingrid Suarez-Ramirez had the top Neumann performance and an eighth place finish, with a time of 19:32.6, her best 4k time.
Ciana Rosado followed in 19:59.6, while
Val Castillo and
Katie Baier went back-to-back with times of 20:49.6 and 21:05.7, respectively.
Alli Siravo ran as well with a time of 27:36.6, her personal best.
Neumann will next compete in the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Championship, on Saturday, November 1
st. For the second straight year, the race will be held at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome Complex in Milton, N.Y.
