ASTON, Pa. – For the third straight year, the Neuman University Women's Soccer team will take on No. 2 seeded Marymount University in the Atlantic East Conference tournament semifinals. The game will be played on Tuesday evening at 5:00 PM in Arlington, Va.
 
The Knights finished the regular season with a 6-10-2 record overall. In conference play, they earned the No. 3 seed with a 4-3 record. Neumann features a balanced offensive attack with 12 players picking up at least one goal. They are led by Julianna Hatt's five goals with Anna Poehlmann and Ebony Arvelo right behind with four. Poehlmann and Dylan Brown lead the team with three assists each.
 
First Year, Shannon Duffy has played in and started all 18 matches in goal this season. She's collected three shutouts with a goals against average of 2.32 and a save percentage of .713.
 
The Knights will look to turn around their fortunes against the Saints as they dropped their regular season meeting last week by a final score of 4-0.
 
The other semi-final game will feature No 1. seed Marywood University as they host No. 5 seeded Gwynedd Mercy University. Tuesday's victors will meet on Saturday in the Atlantic East Conference championship game, at the home of the highest remaining seed. The winner will received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
