DALLAS, Pa. – The Neumann University Cross Country teams opened the new season on Friday evening with the Misericordia Invite, held at Letterkenny Field.
Bryan Castro led all Neumann runners with a 4K time of 14:34, obliterating his personal best 4K time, and breaking the program 4K record.
Ethan John followed with a time of 19:08.9 and just two seconds behind was
Luke Ehly.
Siede Washington added a time of 20:31.4,
Jamar Davis finished in 20:50.7, and
Jahmeen Ross had a time of 22:45.2.
On the women's side, Newcomer
Ingrid Swarez-Ramirez led the Knights effort in the women's 4K with a time of 20:11.4.
Katie Baier wasn't too far off of her pace with a time of 20:46.2, the fastest 4K time of her collegiate career.
Ciana Rosado nabbed a time of 21:00.2 while
Val Castillo finished in 22:44.3.
Neumann will be back in action on Friday, September 5
th, when they take part in the WCU Season Opener in Kennett Square, Pa., hosted by West Chester University.
