KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. – The Neumann University Cross Country team competed in the West Chester University Season Opener meet at Unionville High School on Friday evening.
Bryan Castro led the Knights efforts on the 5K course with a time of 18:24.1, putting up the best 5K time of his collegiate career by over 20 seconds.
Ethan John followed with a time of 24:20.0 followed by
Luke Ehly's 25:01.7.
Jahmeen Ross and
Siede Washington closed out the Neumann runners with times of 26:01.7 and 26:50.7.
On the women's side,
Ciana Rosado and
Ingrid Swarez-Ramirez finished in a virtual tie as the top Neumann runners with a time of 25:53.5.
Katie Baier and
Val Castillo also finished back-to-back with times of 26:48.6 and 27:28.4.
Neumann will be back in action on Friday, September 12
th as they'll head to Smyrna, Del. and the Delaware Outreach and Research Center's course for the Delaware State Invite.
