Frank Sill is entering his 24th season as head coach of the Neumann Golf Team for the 2023-24 season.
The longest tenured men’s coach on campus, Sill guided the Knights to a third-place finish in the team’s inaugural season in the Atlantic East Conference. Jared Christmann led Neumann in the conference championship tournament finishing 10th overall.
Sill led the Knights to a fourth-place finish at the 2017-18 CSAC Championship. Joe Mitchell led the way for Neumann, finishing in 10th place overall to take home Second Team All-CSAC honors.
At the 2016-17 CSAC Championship, the Knights placed fifth overall. The Knights finished second at the CSAC Championship during the 2015-16 season. Brandon Gagne won the individual medal with a two-day score of 145, just one over par. For the second straight season, Gagne was also named the Philadelphia Inquirer Men’s Golf Academic All-Area Performer of the Year.
The Knights finished third at the CSAC Championship during the 2014-15 season. Gagne was finished second overall and earned first team All-Conference honors. During the 2013-14 season, the Knights finished fourth overall at the CSAC Championship. Gagne was named first team All-Conference as he finished fifth in the overall standings. In 2012-13 Neumann placed sixth at the CSAC Championship.
The Knights won the CSAC championship in the 2011-2012 season, the first for the program. Neumann represented the CSAC at the NCAA Tournament. Senior Chris Donohue putted out on the 18th hole to secure victory, as the Knights marked their first trip to the NCAA tournament, which was held in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida. Donohue finished second overall and made first team All-CSAC, Ryan Dreger joined Donohue on the first team, while Bruce Bandos made second team All-Conference.
Coach Sill has revitalized the program with enthusiasm and a true love for the game. Coach Sill has the Knights practicing hard, playing with intensity and consistently displaying integrity and good sportsmanship on and off the course. He feels if the team does this, they are winners in every match! This philosophy has paid off for coach Sill with five second place finishes in the PAC and a second place finish in the CSAC while winning the 2011-12 CSAC Championship.
Coach Sill owns and operates Ogden Supply Company in Chichester, Pa. He is very active in his community and currently resides in Boothwyn, Pa. He is a member of Chichester Rotary and a founding member of the Chichester Historic Society. Coach Sill’s awards include Rotary International's Paul Harris Fellow and Governor's Citation for Community Service. Coach Sill has also been honored with the Chichester School District's Service Award and Lower Chichester Township's "Service Above Self" Award.
