Bryan Arra

Bryan Arra enters his first season with the Neumann men’s lacrosse team in the 2013 season.

In founding the Rumford and Rumford Lacrosse Club Team after college, Arra wanted to give back to the sport that gave him so many opportunities. The club team allows recent high school graduates the opportunity to play alongside some of the best collegiate players in the area before heading off to college. As club members, future collegiate players have the opportunity to hone in and polish their skills. Bryan also co-founded Eric Bishop’s 4 Rings Lacrosse Camp which allowed elementary players a chance to learn from the area’s best high school, college and professional players.

In 2004, Bryan started his coaching career at Cardinal O’ Hara High School serving for four seasons as an assistant lacrosse coach and defensive coordinator. He then moved on to the position of head coach at Monsignor Bonner High School where he spent the last two seasons.

A graduate of West Chester University, Coach Arra was a member of the lacrosse team for three seasons. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Kiniesology.  Today Coach Arra sees Health and Physical Education as the building blocks to active and healthy living.  Besides physical well-being Bryan knows that such education promotes positive self-esteem and self-image in young adults.  Lessons learned here are the same lessons and interactions students will need to succeed in the game of life.  In both instances, one strives for excellence in realizing one’s potential, and this personal goal Coach Arra hopes to leave as his legacy with students.

Currently, Arra resides in Havertown, Pa.  He is employed by the Davidson School, Elwyn, Pa. where as a certified faculty member. He helps construct curriculums geared to age and ability levels, devise Individualized Educational Plans and coaches Special Olympics for students.
