Cory Malampy

Cory Malampy begins his third year at the helm of the Neumann men’s lacrosse team in 2015.  In 2014, Coach Malampy led the Knights to their first postseason appearance since 2002.

Neumann finished 2014 6-10 overall and 3-3 in CSAC action. Eight members of the team were named to the CSAC All-Academic team and four were named All-Confernece. Coach Malampy is 8-21 during his first two seasons at Neumann.

In his first season with the Knights, Coach Malampy had nine men named to the All-Academic Men’s Lacrosse team.  Two players earned CSAC All-Conference Awards.

Malampy came to Neumann after being an assistant coach at Widener University for two seasons (2011 and 2012) where he was responsible for scouting and creating opposing team evaluations along with player development and fundamentals. Malampy also played lacrosse at Widener for four years and was named captain for two seasons. He was a two-time all-conference player who helped the Pride to three MAC championships.

In addition to coaching at Widener, Malampy played for the Kentucky Stickhorses in the North American Lacrosse League. He also runs and manages his own landscaping company.

Coach Malampy graduated Widener University in 2010 receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.  He currently resides in Ridley Park, Pa.
