Kayla Chamberlain Buckley


Kayla Chamberlain Buckley enters seventh as the Head Men’s Tennis Coach during the 2016-17 seasons.
 
Last season, Neumann qualified for the CSAC postseason, before falling in the semifinals. The Knights finished 4-6 overall and 3-3 in conference action. During the 2015 season, the men finished as the CSAC Runner-up, finishing the season 10-3 overall. During the 2014 season, the men claimed the CSAC Championship. The Knights went a perfect 7-0 in regular season conference action.  During the 2012 (5-9) and 2013 (7-8) season, Coach Buckley led the Knights to CSAC Semifinal appearances. As the interim head coach in 2011, Neumann was 2-8.
 
As an undergraduate, Buckley was a member of the Neumann’s women’s tennis team for four seasons. She was a captain her junior and senior seasons. She helped lead the Knights to their first postseason appearance in 2008 and finished as the conference runner-up in 2009.
 
Buckley graduated from Neumann in May of 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. She married fellow Neumann Alumni Zane Buckley in May of 2015 and the couple welcomed their first child, Finn, in June 2016.
