George White

White begins his first season as the softball head coach for the 2020 season.

White transitions to head coach after being an assistant coach for the past two seasons. The team registered a record of 54-30 over the previous two seasons capping off last year by winning the first ever Atlantic East Conference tournament. The Knights rolled to the title with a 9-1 record in regular season play, followed by four consecutive wins in the conference tournament to take home the crown. With the win Neumann earned a trip to the ECAC tournament, where it won its first game over Alvernia University before falling to eventual champion Pfeiffer University in the tournament semifinals.

Coach White has 22 years of softball coaching experience. He began coaching with the Folcroft Girls Club back in 1998. He coached the Jersey Sharks and the Jersey Outlaws at the tournament level from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, White was an assistant coach at Kingsway Regional High School in New Jersey. In 2008, the Dragons won the NJ State Title.  In August of 2015, White was hired as the new head coach at Garnet Valley High School. Coach White was brought in to help return the Jaguars to a contender in the Central League, as the team had missed the playoffs the previous 3 seasons. In his first year at the helm, White’s Jags made the playoffs after posting a 13-7 record. The Jaguars would make the playoffs in each of White’s three years as head coach. He finished his Garnet Valley coaching career with a record of 41-26 and reached the playoff round in all three seasons. In his final year at GV the team went on to play in States. White was also on the Football coaching staff at Garnet Valley from 2015 to 2018 where he coached quarterbacks and running backs.
 
A Facilities Supervisor at Lockheed Martin for 14 years, White and his wife Tina, have two daughters, Lindsay and Allie.
