Kim Spinks

    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Kim Spinks begins her fifth season as an assistant women’s basketball coach in 2012-13. Kim graduated from Eastern University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science.  She later completed her MBA in Management at Eastern in 2005, and completed her M.S in Higher Adult Education in 2007 from Drexel University. 

 

Kim comes to Neumann with a great deal of coaching experience.  Prior to joining Neumann Staff, Kim was scouter/recruiter for the Gwynedd-Mercy College Women’s Basketball Program for the 2007-2008 season.  In 2006-2007, Kim was Interim head coach/assistant coach at Eastern University and spent 2004-2006 at Ursinus College as an assistant coach.

 

In addition to her college coaching experience she helped to startup an AAU organization called the Collegeville Jaguars in 2003-2004.  Her role was athletic director and coach of the 14-year-olds.  Before starting up an AAU organization, Kim was the head coach for the Whitemarsh Girls Travel Team for two seasons in 2003-2005, and also officially began her basketball coaching career as an internship as a assistant JV coach for Plymouth Whitemarsh High School as well as the summer league coach for P.W in 2001-2003. 

 

Besides her coaching duties, Kim currently is a Sr. Logistics Coordinator in Clinical Supplies for Johnson & Johnson and a professor at Eastern University.
