Chris Simpson

Coach Simpson enters his fifth season at the helm of the cross country programs in 2025.

Simpson has led the men's and women's track programs at Neumann as head coach for the past four years, helping numerous student-athletes set personal-best times and program records. Prior to becoming head coach, he also served the Knights for three seasons as an assistant coach for the team's distance runners. He has been integral in leading several student-athletes to top marks at the Atlantic East Championship Meet and has guided multiple members of the program to qualify for the ECAC Championships over the course of his time with the program.

In addition to his seven total years at Neumann as a coach, Simpson also brings a wealth of experience from his background as a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength Coach at various gyms in Delaware.

Simpson also still runs competitively himself, winning the Masters national track and field championship in both the 400 meter dash and 800 meter run in 2016.
