“It is great to be back at Neumann University!” Townsend graduated from Neumann in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Early and Special Education and is currently working in the Interboro School district.

After cheering all four years while enrolled at Neumann, this will be her first year at the coaching helm and she is eager for the season to start. Townsend served as the team captain in her senior year, where she assisted in creating cheers, routines and stunts for the basketball season.

“Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to watch the cheerleading program grow higher than my expectations.” stated Townsend. “It is my goal to keep improving while incorporating Neumann values into the program.”
