Neumann University Athletics

Chris Bournazos, of the men’s hockey team, is this week’s Neumann University Athlete of the Week. It is the second time Bournazos has been named the NU Athlete of the week. The sophomore was also named the ECAC West Player of the Week.

Bournazos had two goals in the Northfield Bank Tournament Championship game and was named the MVP as Neumann handed No. 1 Norwich its first loss of the season, 5-3. The sophomore scored Neumann's first goal of the game, cutting the Cadets lead to 2-1 in the second period. Bournazos then scored the eventual game-winner midway through the third period, breaking the 3-3 tie.

Bournazos leads the Knights in goals with seven. One came on the power play, one was a game-winner and was tied a game.
