JoHanna Metzger, women’s basketball team, this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Metzger was also named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Week.

Metzger averaged 15.0 points and 16.5 rebounds and added five blocks in a pair of narrow setbacks last week. She went 14-for-33 from the field (.424) and contributed two steals and an assist.

The senior also scored her 1,000th career point at the 7:56 mark of the second quarter on Saturday, becoming the 17th Knight to reach that benchmark for the women’s basketball program.
