Neumann University Athletics

Ariana Pena, of the women's volleyball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Pena, who was named the Atlantic East Player of the Week, led Neumann in a 4-1 week as she notched 62 kills and a .491 hitting percentage. The senior had double-digit kills in four of the five matches, with nine kills in the fifth match. Her week high was 21 in a 3-1 win over Gallaudet. Pena added six solo blocks and 12 block assists. The senior was named to the All-Tournament team as Neumann went 3-1 at the Buttermaker Tournament at Muhlenberg College over the weekend.
