Neumann University Athletics

Mario Tropea, of the men's ice hockey team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. He was also named the UCHC Rookie of the Week. 

Tropea registered two goals and an assist in three games over the weekend. The freshman forward scored a goal in a 3-2 loss at Elmira on Saturday and added goal and an assist in a 3-3 draw versus Nazareth on Monday. His goal Monday versus the Golden Flyers tied the contest up in the third to force overtime and he also scored the winning goal in the shootout to clinch an extra point in the conference standings for the Knights.
