Lauren Klieber, of the women's basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Klieber was also named the first Atlantic East Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The sophomore averaged 24.0 points and 11.0 rebounds as Neumann opened the 2022-23 season 1-2. She opened the season netting a week-high 29 points at Arcadia. In a tournament over the weekend, Klieber had a double-double in each game. She had 21 points and 11 rebounds against Goucher and followed with 22 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Mount Aloysius. Klieber was also named the team MVP at Renie Amoss Tip-Off.
