Gia Santorello, of the women’s ice hockey team, is this week's Neumann University Athllete of the Week.

The rookie was also named the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Rookie of the Week.
 
Santorello tallied a goal and three assists in Neumann’s weekend sweep over UCHC foe King’s. Santorello opened the scoring in a 5-2 win on Friday at King's and was plus-2. She followed that effort up with a season-best three assists, including on the first and eventual game-winning goal, in a 5-0 shutout
