Jake Methlie, of the men's lacrosse team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Methlie went 30-42 in the face-off circle in a 1-1 week for the Knights and was named to the Atlantic East Weekly Honor Roll. The sophomore also picked up a team-high 22 ground balls in the two games. In a close 14-12 loss to SUNY-Potsdam, Jake was 21-28 in face-offs with 15 ground balls. He followed going 9-for-14 and seven ground balls in a 6-5 win over Goucher. For the Springfield, Pa. native, this is his second conference honor of the season after being named the Defensive Player of the Week on February 27th.
