Neumann University Athletics

Shane Smith, of the men's soccer team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Smith, who was also named the Atlantic East Defensive Player of the Week, led the Knights to a 3-1 win over Widener on Wednesday, making 10 saves in the victory. The lone goal he conceded came off a rebound after he saved the initial attempt on a penalty kick. He also made five saves in a 2-1 loss versus York College of Pennsylvania, bringing his total to 15 saves in two games.
