Matt Tendler

Matt Tendler begins his second season as Head Coach of the men’s ice hockey team.
 
In his first season, the Knights went 15-9-3 and advanced to the ECAC West semifinals. Mike Davis was named second team, ACHA All-American.

Tendler has over 20 years of playing experience. He played for the Philadelphia Little Flyers Junior A in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League from 2003 till 2007. He then went on to play for the Brockville Braves in the Central Junior A Hockey League from 2007 to 2009. After completing of his senior season at Neumann, Tendler signed with the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League. He has now spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach for the Knights.

Tendler is a 2012 graduate of Neumann University with a degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. He was a four year member of the Knights varsity hockey team where he played in 35 contests and had an overall record of 19-8-2. Tendler was on the 2009 National Championship squad.
