ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann College volleyball team fell to Lebanon Valley College, 3-1, Saturday morning in the first match of the Neumann Tri-Match.
LVC (22-2) took the first two sets of the morning, 25-17 and 25-13. Neumann (11-9) came back and won the third set 25-21. The fourth set stayed close, but the Flying Dutchmen took the set by a 25-22 score to win the match.
Ashley Mathis led Neumann with 15 kills. Emilee Gruse notched 11 kills. Kristen Verone dished out 25 assists. Meghan Wilson and Rachael Sokolovich each had 11 digs.

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann College volleyball team concluded its play at the Tri-Match Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Frostburg State.
The first set was close and as Neumann (11-10) looked like it would win, Frostburg (22-4) pulled out the 26-24 win. FSU then took the second set by a 25-15 score. The third set was another close one with Frostburg winning, 25-21.
Ashley Mathis and Emilee Gruse each had eight kills for Neumann. Kristen Verone dished out 19 assists. Julia Tarloski had four block assists and Meghan Wilson notched 20 digs.
The Knights will travel to the College of Notre Dame (Md.) on Thursday night for a conference match. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
