SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann College volleyball team defeated Baptist Bible College, 3-0, in its first match at the Scranton Tri-match Saturday afternoon.

Neumann won the sets 25-22, 25-19 and 25-13 scores.  Ashley Mathis led the Knights with 14 kills. Julia Tarloski notched 10 kills. Kristen Verone dished out 34 assists and 10 digs. Meghan Wilson had 16 digs and Rachael Sokolovich added 14. The team had nine service aces.

Neumann improves to 13-10 overall. The Knights will face Scranton in the second match this afternoon. That match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.

SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann College volleyball team dropped its second match at the Scranton Tri-match, 3-0, to host Scranton Saturday afternoon.

Scranton took the sets by scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-18. Ashley Mathis led the Knights with 10 kills. Kristen Verone dished out 25 assists. Meghan Wilson notched 17 digs. The team had seven blocks.

Neumann will host Philadelphia Biblical on Wednesday night in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match-up. The match is slated to start at 7 p.m.
