ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann College field hockey team defeated Cedar Crest College 3-1 Monday afternoon in the final regular season Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game.

Neumann completes the regular season at 9-10 overall and 8-1 CSAC. The Knights finish in second place. Cabrini, the only team Neumann lost to, finished in first. Cabrini and Neumann will receive byes in the quarterfinals

Cedar Crest opened the scoring with a goal from Adrienne Maurer off a penalty corner. Neumann then scored three unanswered goals. Lauren Hood netted the game at one with less then a minute left in the first half.

Kerri Sinclair gave the Knights the lead with a shot between her legs at the 58 minute mark. Rachael DiCicco netted an insurance goal from Hood.

Nicole Deludos started the game for Neumann. Jordan Haviland was in net for the second half. The Knights out shot the Falcons 27-3.

Neumann will now await its opponent for the semifinal game that will take place on November 5.
