ADRIAN, Mich. - The Neumann College men's ice hockey team defeated Adrian College, 4-2, Saturday night.

Bill Foster, Stewart Sjoberg, Matt Ward and Lincoln Schrock all scored for the Knights. Jordan Erickson made 29 saves in net for Neumann.

The teams played a scoreless first period before Foster gave Neumann a 1-0 lead in the beginning of the second. Adrian scored the next two goals to take a 2-1 lead. The Knights tied the game at two with a goal from Schrock.

Ward netted the game-winning goal as the Knights shut down Adrian in the third period. Sjoberg netted the fourth goal with one second left and sealed the win.

Neumann improves to 2-1 on the season. The Knights will face Adrian again tomorrow. The puck is set to be dropped at 3 p.m.
