ASTON, Pa. – The #13 Neumann College men's ice hockey team fell to #5 Elmira College, 3-1, Friday night in ECAC West action.

Elmira scored two goals in the first period to jump out to a 2-0 lead. Jesse Cole netted Neumann's goal at the 7:26 mark of the second period to cut the Soaring Eagles lead to one.

The teams battled back and forth in the third period. The Knights out shot Elmira 11-5 in the third, but could not beat Eagles goalie Casey Tuttle. Elmira scored an empty netter with 44 second left to seal the win.

Neumann is now 4-3 on the season, 2-1 in the ECAC West. Elmira improves to 4-2, 2-0 in the ECAC West.

The Knights will host Hobart tomorrow night at Ice Works. The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m.
