ADRIAN, Mich. - The Neumann College men's ice hockey team dropped a 10-1 decision to Adrian College Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs didn't take long to open the scoring, netting a goal just 24 seconds into the game. Adrian would score three goals in the first, four in the second and three more in the third.
Jesse Cole notched the lone Neumann goal in the second period.
David Gooch had the assist.
Jordan Erickson made nine saves in net as he started the game.
Jonathan Keating notched 20 saves.
The Knights are now 2-2 on the season. Adrian is 2-1-1.
Neumann will open conference play next weekend against Manhattanville College. Friday night will also be the home opener for the Knights. The puck is set to drop for both games at 7 p.m.
