PURPOSE, N.Y. - The Neumann College men's ice hockey team tied Manhattanville College, 2-2, Saturday night in ECAC West action.

Neumann opened the scoring when Mike Hedden netted a goal 3:01 into the first period. Matt Ward and Marlon Gardner assisted on the goal.

Manhattanville tied the game in the second period, but 48 seconds laster Kyle Casey, from Matt Ward and Marlon Gardner, put the Knights back up, 2-1.

Manhattanville tied the game at 2-all at the 8:57 mark of the third.

Ross MacKinnon made 27 saves in net, including two in overtime. Sergiy Sorokolat made 28 saves for Manhattanville.

Neumann is now 5-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in ECAC West action. The Knights travel to Castleton, Vt. for a tournament on November 29-30.
