ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann College volleyball team defeated Cabrini College in four sets Saturday evening for its second straight conference title in the Colonial States Athletic Conference Championship (CSAC) match.

Emilee Gruse led the Knights will 12 kills. Jarrae Robinson had 11 and Julia Tarloski netted 10 kills. Kristen Verone dished out 43 assists. Rachael Sokolovich had a team high 21 digs. Meghan Wilson notched 16 and Rachele DiMichele had 12. Robinson and Melissa Haines each had four aces.

Cabrini was led by Alexis Doss with 16 kills. Lindsay Martin and Traci Beltz each notched 10. Lizzie Williams dished out 40 assists. Michelle Mola had a team high 20 digs.

Neumann won the first two sets by close scored of 25-22 and 25-23. Cabrini won the third set, again by the close score of 25-23. The Knights prevailed in the fourth set, yet another close score, 25-23.

Neumann improves its record to 18-17 overall and will represent the CSAC in the NCAA Tournament. Robinson was named the Championship MVP. Cabrini is 20-13.
