ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Neumann College Men's soccer team travelled to Allentown, Pa. today to open their season against Moravian College. The Knights were looking to start their season with a solid win. However, the Greyhounds stopped the Knights by scoring two first-half goals and creating a deficit too deep to overcome.

Freshmen Taylor Molinaro opened the scoring for Moravian.  This was followed by junior Evan Outlaw's goal at the 32nd minute mark of the game to put Moravian on top 2-0.  Neumann's head coach Kevin Sloan stated, "we allowed ourselves to become disorganized in our defensive end too many times in the first half and Moravian took advantage of our mistakes." With a 2-0 deficit the Knights had to push the attack in the second half.

With Neumann's defense improving the Neumann offense was able to attack Moravian in the second half. Sophomore Zack Sell scored off a cross from frshman Andrew Rajmondo to make score 2-1. However the Greyhound's defense was able to thwart all other Neumann shots to ensure the victory.

Neumann falls to 0-1 on the season. The Knight's play Muhlenberg tomorrow at 5 pm.
