Field Hockey Improves to 2-0 at Home

ASTON, Pa – The Neumann College field hockey team open its Colonial States Athletic
Conference (CSAC) schedule with a 3-1 win over Keystone College Wednesday afternoon at Bruder Field.
 

Neumann (2-7, 1-0 CSAC) opened the scoring early as Lindsey Graham scored just 3:30 into the game off a pass from Kerri Sinclair. Lauren Hood made the score 2-0 after she raced down the field and shot the ball from inside the circle into the top left-hand corner at the 13:10 mark. Rachael DiCiccio gave the

Knights a 3-0 lead towards the end of the first half. DiCiccio's goal was assisted by Melissa Malick.

Keystone (3-4, 0-1 CSAC) netted its only goal with a minute and a half left in the contest as Samantha Morgan scored an unassisted goal.

Jordan Haviland made three saves in net for Neumann. Breanna Auld had eight stops for Keystone.

Neumann will host Philadelphia Biblical at noon on Saturday as part of the 2008 homecoming festivities. The Knights will look to keep their perfect home record alive.
