ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann College women's volleyball team started the second day of the Blue Jay Classic with a 3-1 win over McDaniel College. In the final match of the tournament, the Knights fell to St. Mary's, 3-1, and finished in 4th out of 8 teams.
Against McDaniel, Neumann (7-7) won the first set by a 25-19 score. McDaniel won a close second set, 28-26. The Knights won sets three (25-19) and four (25-20) to take the match.
Jarrae Robinson led the Knights with 10 kills, eight digs and four block assists. Kristen Verone dished out 38 assists, notched 14 digs and five aces. Julia Tarloski hit .430 with 11 kills (two errors) and had six block assists. Meghan Wilson led the team in digs with 32 and Rachele DiMichele added 15 digs.
Against St. Mary's, Neumann (7-8) won the first set by a score of 32-30. St. Mary's then won the next three sets, all by 25-21 scores. Verone dished out 30 assists and 11 digs. Wilson notched 19 digs. Robinson and Tarloski each had nine kills. Emille Gruse had one block solo and four block assists.The team had nine service aces.
Meghan Wilson was one of six players named to the All-Tournament team.

Neumann will host Bible Baptist and Immaculata on Tuesday, September 30th in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. The match against Bible Baptist will start at 5 p.m. with the match versus Immaculata at 7 p.m.
