POMONA, N.J. The Neumann College field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to Richard Stockton Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.

After a scoreless first half in which Stockton (1-6) outshot Neumann (3-8) 10-3, the Ospreys broke through for two goals in the first seven minutes of the second half.  Stockton scored just 3:22 into the period for a 1-0 lead.  Just 3:04 later Stockton scored again and preserved the shutout, 2-0.

Lauren Hood notched four shots for the Knights. Goalie Jordan Haviland was strong with 15 saves in the game. Stockton goalie Debi O'Kane registered five saves for her second career shutout. 

Neumann will host Swarthmore on Thursday in a make-up game from earlier this season. Gane is set to start at 4 p.m. on Bruder Field.
