LANGHORNE, Pa. – Hot shooting from three-point land by Jordan Elgart helped lead the Neumann College women's basketball team to an 81-57 win over Philadelphia Biblical University Tuesday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.

The Knights had four players in double figures. Elgart made 6-of-7 from beyond the arc and finished with 20 points. Brittany Whetts netted 20 points and 13 rebounds. Krista DiRomualdo and Cecily Scavicchio each added 11 points. The team finished with 10 threes.

Dani Norton led the Crimson Eagles with 14 points. Dani Hooper added 11 points while Lindsey Fornwalt scored 10.

The Knights scored the first seven points of the game and never looked back. Neumann built its lead up to 21 points, 33-21, with 7:39 left in the first half. The Crimson Eagles started to chip away at the lead and the Knights took a 13 point advantage, 41-28, into halftime.

The second half was much the same as the first. Neumann's largest lead was 35 points, 80-45, with 4:38 left.

Neumann returns home, after five road games, on Thursday for a CSAC game against Notre Dame. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. Before tip-off, the team will recognize Whetts as she scored her 1,000th point last week at Rosemont.
