ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann College women's ice hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to #4 Elmira College Saturday afternoon in ECAC West action at Ice Works.

Jasper Thomson scored the goal for the Knights. Nicole Alexopoulos had an assist.

Jenna McCall had a goal and an assist for the Soaring Eagles.

Karen Colehour opened the scoring in the first period with a goal at the 16:46 mark. Jenna McCall gave Elmira a 2-0 lead with a power play goal in the second period. Thomson netter her goal on the power play 7:32 into the second period. Despite good chances, the Knights could not get the tying goal.

Mel Brunet 32 saves in net for Neumann. The Knights travel to Potsdam St. next Saturday and Sunday for ECAC action. The puck is set to drop at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
