ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team defeated Cedar Crest College, 3-1, Thursday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference action. Game scores were 25-17, 17-25, 25-14, 25-13.

Ashley Mathis led the Knights with 17 kills. Emilee Gruse added 10 kills. Cecily Scavicchio dished out 37 assists. Victoria Limmina led the team with 18 digs. Melissa Haines added 17, Maria Donahue had 17 while Scavicchio notched 10.

The Knights improve to 5-15 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Neumann will host Baptist Bible on Tuesday in a conference match-up. The contest is slated to start at 7 p.m. in Bruder Gymnasium.
