GWYNEDD VALLEY – The Neumann University volleyball team won 3-0 over Gwynedd-Mercy College Tuesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. Game scores were 25-11, 25-23, 25-16.

Ashley Mathis led the team with 13 kills. Emilee Gruse notched 10 kills. Cecily Scavicchio handed out 25 assists. Victoria Limmina notched five service aces. On the defensive side, Melissa Haines had 10 digs. 

Neumann is now 7-18 overall and 6-1 in the conference. The Knights will officially open the new Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development when they host Philadelphia Biblical and Centenary in a CSAC tri-match on Saturday. The first patch is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
