ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team wrapped-up conference action with a 3-0 win over the College of Notre Dame Tuesday evening.
Senior Melissa Haines notched the 1,000th dig of her career in the first set. Before the game, seniors Haines, Lindsay Buckland and Emilee Gruse were honored.
Ashley Mathis led the Knights with 10 kills. Jerrae Robinson and Gruse each had six. Cecily Scavicchio dished out 21 assists. Haines added 11 digs and four service aces.
The Knights will compete in a tri-match on Saturday with DeSales and Richard Stockton. Neumann, 11-21 overall and 10-1 in the conference, will open playoff action next week.
