FROSTBURG, Md. – The Neumann University volleyball team fell in its first match of the Frostburg Quad Match Friday evening. Game scores were 25-9, 22-25, 25-13, 25-14.

Emilee Gruse powered Neumann with 13 kills while Jerrae Robinson had seven. Cecily Scavicchio handed out 23 assist and Melissa Haines posted 20 digs.

LVC reached the 20-win plateau (20-1) with its 10th-straight win while Neumann (6-16) suffered just it second loss in its last five matches.

The Knights will face host Frostburg at 11 a.m. tomorrow.  Neumann will wrap up the Quad match against Bridgewater at 1 p.m.
