ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team fell to Manhattanville College, 4-2, Saturday evening in an ECAC West contest. 

William Lacasse and Brent Tamane scored the goals for Neumann. Ross MacKinnon made 26 saves in net. 

The game featured penalties and power plays. Manhattanville was 3-for-9 on the man advantage. Neumann was held scoreless (0-for-7). 

Manhattanville scored twice in the first period, once on the power play, and took the 2-0 lead into the first intermission.  

Lacasse scored for Neumann midway through the second period to cut the lead to 2-1. The Valients regained the two goal lead with 2:36 left in the second, on the power play, for a 3-1 lead at the second intermission. 

Manhattanville netted its third power play goal of the evening 2:34 into the third period. Brent Tamane scored his goal at the 8:10 mark, but Neumann could not get any closer. 

Neumann will participate in the Castleton State Tournament next weekend.
