GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Neumann University men's basketball team fell to Rowan University, 80-62, Friday evening as the Knights wrapped up the 2009 portion of their season. 

Na'Sheed Linton and Marquise Boggs led the Knights with 11 points each. Ty Robinson added 10.  

Sean Hughes led Rowan with 21 points. Tyson Hartnett added 15 and Allen Pritchett scored 10.  

Robinson netted the first basket of the game, but that was all the Knights could muster for a quick start. Rowan held Neumann to just 10 points in the first 10 minutes of the game. The Profs built their lead up to as many as 28 points in the first half and held a 51-27 lead at halftime. 

The Knights connected on more shots in the second half and outscored Rowan 35-29 in the final 20 minutes. But Neumann could not overcome the first half deficit and fell 80-62.

 Neumann (4-4) will host the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic on January 5-6 at the Mirenda Center. Rowan, Penn State Brandywine and Valley Forge Christian College will participate. The first game is on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
