ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann College men's basketball team beat Immaculata University, 68-47, Thursday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.

Eli Hitchens scored 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Patrick O'Connor, Ty Robinson and Michael Hitchens each added eight points.

Kyle Finklea netted 13 points for the Mighty Macs. Julius scored 12 while John Boyd added 10.

The first half stayed close and featured five ties and three lead changes. The teams were tied at 16 with 1:33 left in the half and the Knights finished with five straight points to take a 21-16 advantage into half time.

The Mighty Macs got to within three points in the beginning of the second, but the Knights scored eight consecutive points to give them an 11 point lead, 34-23, with 15:43 remaining. Neumann would not let Immaculata back in the game and won 68-47.

Neumann will travel to Cabrini on Saturday for a CSAC contest. The Knights fell to the Cavaliers in the meeting earlier this season, 66-63. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m.
