ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – The Neumann College men's lacrosse team fell to Eastern University, 19-8, Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Matt Toth and Tom Hedrick scored two goals apiece for the Knights. Jake Boulay made 10 saves in net for Neumann. Pat D'Ambrosio made one save in 6:55 of playing time.

Nick Mandia and Ben O'Donnell scored four goals each for Eastern. Matt Wagner netted three goals.

Hedrick scored the first goal of the game to put Neumann up 1-0. The Eagles then scored three goals before Hedrick netted his second goal. Eastern would score two more goals in the first quarter for a 5-2 lead.

Toth and Kyle Gardner scored for the Knights in the second quarter, but Eastern took a 12-4 lead at halftime.

Dominic Collichio netted a goal for Neumann in the third quarter and Mike Pantelone, Toth and Brian Friel scored in the fourth.

Neumann will face Vassar College on Friday night. The game will be at 7 p.m. on the campus of Widener University.
