Women's Lacrosse Rolls to18-5 over College of Notre Dame

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Neumann College women's lacrosse team defeated College of Notre Dame, 18-5, Tuesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.

Alex Bohen tallied a game-high six goals, and two assists for the Knights.  Emily Kazaba and Gabby D'Ambrosio both netted four goals. Colleen Finnegan scored four goals and had two assists.

Ashleigh Johnson and Kristen Clarke had two goals each for the Gators. Lauren

Terry scored one goal.

The Knights dominated the first half, outscoring the Gators 13 to two.  Bohen netted the first goal from Adrienne McCrae 7:04 into the game.  Kristen Clarke scored the Gator's first goal 12:35 in the first half. The Knights continued to control the half by scoring 12 more goals going into the second half.

Neumann scored five goals before the Gators answered back, 18-2. The Gators rallied of three more goals with less than two minutes left in the game, but it was not enough.  Kazaba and D'Ambrosio both scored 2 goals for the Knights in the second half, Ashleigh Johnson had two unassisted goals for the Gators. Neumann held on for the 18-5 win.

Neumann improves to 5-8 overall and 4-2 in the conference. The Knights will host Elmira College on Tuesday, March 14th in non-conference action. The game is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. at Msgr. Bonner.
